Complementary health, by definition, is something which 'works well with' - either conventional medicine or another therapy or just your own will power, enabling you to have more help and control over any aspect of your health and well-being both physical and emotional. It's over-riding aim is 'do no harm'. Alternative therapy health practitioners are usually qualified to diagnose health problems as well as treat them. The Marjorie Centre, brainchild of Fiona Durling (ask her about the story behind the name), opened at the beginning of 2001 and a strong team of well qualified, fully insured practitioners who update their knowledge regularly with Continuing Professional Development training has been built up to help you. We like to offer a person centered approach, recognising that each person is an individual and what suits one person may not be appropriate for another. The practice is based in Uttoxeter, on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border and is easily accessible from Burton on Trent, Derby, Ashbourne, Stone, Rugeley, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Cheadle and surrounding areas.

For patient/client convenience we are able to offer some evening and weekend appointments. Please ring for availability. We are also wheelchair friendly with portable ramps for ease of access.
